The neighborhood gets properly quiet at night too, which was perfect since I’m one of those people who wakes up if a cat sneezes three streets over. Parking was straightforward and free, which saved me from the headache of navigating Bordeaux’s city center in a rental car (trust me on this one). The breakfast was solid – nothing revolutionary, but fresh pastries, decent coffee, and they had those little local touches that showed someone actually cared about what they were serving.
