Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Student Factory Bordeaux Armagnac on allée de la Pacific, I wasn’t expecting much from what sounds like a pretty corporate name. But you know what? This place actually surprised me. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area that feels refreshingly removed from the tourist chaos of central Bordeaux, yet you can still hop on the tram and be sipping wine in the old quarter within twenty minutes.
The building itself has this modern, clean-lined vibe that screams “designed for people who actually live here” rather than just passing through. And that makes sense – it’s clearly set up with longer stays in mind, which honestly works in your favor even if you’re just there for a weekend. The rooms are way more spacious than your typical hotel, with actual kitchenettes that aren’t just for show. I mean, having a proper fridge and decent counter space when you’re dealing with all those amazing French market finds? Game changer. The staff seemed genuinely relaxed too – none of that overly polished hotel theater you get at fancier places. Check-in was smooth, parking was straightforward (and free, which in Bordeaux is basically winning the lottery), and the whole vibe just felt… I don’t know, livable.
What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night. You’re far enough from the busy streets that you won’t hear scooters buzzing around at 2 AM, but close enough to that network of tram lines that getting around the city is actually easier than staying downtown. The Pacific area isn’t exactly where tourists typically end up, which means you get to see how Bordeaux actually functions – there’s a decent boulangerie just down the street, a little market that locals actually use, and this surprisingly good Vietnamese place around the corner that I definitely wouldn’t have found otherwise. The rooms themselves are well-designed in that Scandinavian-meets-French way – lots of light, simple furniture that actually works, and beds that don’t feel like they came from a budget catalog. Sure, it’s not dripping with old-world charm, but sometimes you just want a place where the shower has proper pressure and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the elevator. For what it is – a solid, no-nonsense base for exploring one of France’s best wine regions – it delivers exactly what you need without any unnecessary fuss.

**if you have trouble checking in (it's automated) go to the 5th floor, on your right, and that is where the office is. The secretary is very kind and helpful.
I'm not too picky when it comes to places to sleep, so with that in mind, this place is a good value for the money. Everything was clean, enough utensils for cooking in the kitchen, and the staff were very kind. Even the local occupants who live there were very nice. I've seen some reviewers nitpick this place to death, yet not realizing this isn't some 5 star hotel. For the price, it was perfect and expected.Robert from Italy (7/10)
Close to transport for Bordeaux, convenience store just around the corner.
Dusan from Slovakia (9/10)
Modern minimalistic apartment, in a walking distance to the historic centre (longer walk though), and with all the shops you might need close by. The common spaces and terraces are great. No noise, effortless self checkin.
Kleber from Portugal (9/10)
It was easy to do the check-in.
Konrad from France (8/10)
Great location with nearby restaurants. Easy to access and great value for money. The checking process is automated and easy to follow but you can't be there beforehand. It's precisely on time. The room had a nice view.
Morgan from United Kingdom (9/10)
great terrace space, compact but with everything you need, comfy bed
Mila from Czech Republic (9/10)
Clean, nothing exceptional but good value for the money. GREAT equipped kitchen. Self-check in was fine, but many codes to remember. Printer available. Only two tram stops away from the main train station.
Elisabete from Portugal (8/10)
Very autonomous, the contactless check-in went very smoothly. The location was good for us because we wanted to be close to the train station. Otherwise, I would have preferred to be closer to the centre.
Dariiia from Ukraine (8/10)
The room is ok for this price, I was surprised that there is a shared lounge zone, as well as other business rooms and small kitchen. Good option if you stay in Bordeaux for 2-3 nights.

I appreciated.
