There’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner where you’ll find yourself grabbing morning pastries, and the evening aperitif scene on nearby terraces is exactly what you’d hope for in France. The Saturday market at Marché des Capucins is walking distance, and trust me, it’s worth the early morning trek. You’re also perfectly positioned for wine bar hopping — the city center has some incredible spots where you can taste regional wines without the tourist markup you’d find near major attractions.

  The size of the place was very good. It had a small outside area that was fine to let air through the house. We tended to open the lovely long windows and watch the street below.
  The street was fairly quiet for a city but so close to great places to eat and bars. There is also very chic shops close by.
