That’s where locals actually shop for cheese and wine. Plus, you can walk to the tram stop on Cours du Médoc in about three minutes, which connects you to the historic center or out to the wine regions if you’re planning day trips.

The Apartment Experience

The space itself feels like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place — thoughtfully furnished but not sterile. The kitchen actually works (I’m talking full-size refrigerator and proper cookware), which matters if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the market and cook something simple. The living area has those tall French windows that let in amazing light, especially in the morning when you’re having coffee. I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with quirky decor — it’s comfortable and functional, with enough character to remind you that you’re in France.

Neighborhood Life

What I really loved about staying here is how you slip into actual Bordeaux life pretty quickly. There’s a boulangerie around the corner where the same woman works every morning (her pain au chocolat is ridiculous), and the wine bar Le Bistrot du Sommelier is maybe a two-minute walk — locals hang out there, not just tourists. The Jardin Public becomes your backyard essentially, and it’s genuinely lovely for morning runs or evening walks. You’ll see families having picnics, people playing pétanque, the whole scene that makes you feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just visiting it.

The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here — it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. You get the independence of having your own space, but you’re not stuck in some sterile apartment complex on the outskirts.   It had everything needed for an enjoyable 5 nights. The handover was very good and the owner contacted us to make sure we had settled in. It is close to a tram stop in a very quiet area just outside of the main town. Would thoroughly recommend staying in this apartment

  Чисто. Тихо. Есть всё, что необходимо для проживания, и даже сверх того. Много красивых зеркал. Приятное окружение и близко к трамваю.
  
  What could be improved: Туалет без двери открыт в спальню, что делает проживание несколько неудобным. Арендодатель требует вымыть посуду и вынести мусор и отказался дать контакт на случай непредвиденных ситуаций. Есть холодильник для вина, но там нет вина 🙁

  appartement vraiment très agréable, confortable, pratique ,très bien situé, très calme, et excellemment équipé.
  Conciergerie très arrangeante pour un rv et parfaitement ponctuelle. que du positif ( voir ci dessous )

  What could be improved: parfait pour une seule personne, je suis moins enthousiaste pour un couple vu l'absence totale d'intimité de la salle de bains. Celle ci est entièrement ouverte sur la chambre . ni cloison ni rideau. de plus toilette fonctionnant sur broyeur, un vacarme pouvant être très gênant de nuit. Le lavabo est ridiculement petit , rendant le rasage périlleux sans se se mettre le nez dans le miroir. C est dommage, c 'est vraiment le seul défaut de cet appartement

  Красивая квартира с интересными предметами типа люстры, стола и прочего. есть шкаф для вина, много посуды. возле трамвайной остановки, рядом парк, магазин.
  
  What could be improved: полка над головой в спальне – есть риск удариться, когда ложишься в кровать или встаешь. туалет без двери и очень громкий смыв. двери есть только между спальней и гостиной, туалет в спальне.

  L'appartement était parfaitement aménagée pour un couple, cosy, chaleureux, très bien équipé.
  On trouve rarement autant de points positifs dans un booking.
  Sans parler des personnes en charge de notre emménagement, à l'écoute, à aucun moment nous ne nous sommes sentis seul.
