You’re literally five minutes from the Saint-Jean train station (perfect if you’re doing day trips to the wine regions), but far enough away that you won’t hear the morning commuter rush.
The self check-in thing actually works – they send you a code beforehand and honestly, it’s refreshing not having to make small talk when you roll up with your bags after a long travel day. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel room. The duplex setup means you’ve got this cozy living area downstairs where you can actually spread out, and the bedroom upstairs has these great slanted windows that let in amazing morning light. But here’s the real winner – that panoramic terrace they mention? It’s not just marketing fluff. You can see across the Bordeaux rooftops all the way to the Garonne, and I spent way too many evenings up there with a bottle of local wine watching the sunset. The WiFi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those vineyard photos or catch up on work.

The location is excellent and the owner and other staff on site were really helpful. Great views on both sides and sitting outside on the little balcony was lovely. Tram stop to easily get anywhere is right next to the property and the free secure parking is also a bonus.

Great location for transport links and walking into town. Relaxed check in and out. Comfortable flat, very relaxed atmosphere. Very clean and fresh bedding. great to have the parking and a balcony. The property is very well located if you need to be close to the station which is right opposite or it's a 35 min walk into town or a 3 minute walk to the river where there are frequent trams. There are great views across Bordeaux in 2 directions. The parking is easy (although if you arrive by car on your own, it would be complicated to find somewhere to leave your car while you walk the 100m to collect the car park fob and keys). Everything worked fine in the apartment (although the front door is a little tricky and has a knack to lock it but is easy to unlock). The terrace would be lovely in good weather and would make the apartment feel more spacious although it was still fine for 4 friends staying together.
