Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Bordeaux, and Le Cheverus honestly surprised me – in the best way possible. The name’s a bit of a mouthful (they really went all-in with that “SUPERBORDEAUX” thing), but don’t let that put you off. It’s tucked right on Rue de Cheverus, which is actually perfect because you’re literally a three-minute walk from Place Gambetta, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. The self check-in thing had me worried at first – you know how those automated systems can go wrong – but it was surprisingly smooth. They text you a code, you punch it in, grab your key from a little lockbox, and you’re done. No awkward small talk required.

The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I mean in a good way. Someone clearly put thought into the layout instead of just cramming in the cheapest furniture possible. The balcony isn’t huge, but it’s big enough for morning coffee and people-watching, and honestly, that’s all you need. The WIFI actually works properly – I was doing video calls without any issues, which is more than I can say for some four-star places I’ve stayed. What really sold me though was the parking situation. Free parking in central Bordeaux is basically unicorn territory, so having a guaranteed spot meant I could actually explore the wine regions during the day without stressing about finding somewhere to leave the car when I got back. The building’s got that classic Bordeaux limestone thing going on, so it fits right into the neighborhood without trying too hard.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: the closest tram stop is Gambetta, which connects you to pretty much everywhere you’d want to go, including the train station. The Marché des Capucins is maybe a ten-minute walk if you want proper local produce and that slightly chaotic French market experience. And if you’re into wine bars (I mean, you’re in Bordeaux, so hopefully you are), there’s this little place called Le Flacon on Rue Sainte-Colombe that the locals actually go to – none of that touristy markup nonsense. The apartment gets morning light, which sounds minor but makes a real difference when you’re trying to wake up after too much Bordeaux rouge the night before. My only tiny complaint is that the shower pressure could be stronger, but honestly, for the price and location, I’m not complaining. The 8.8 rating makes sense – it’s not luxury, but it’s exactly what most people actually need: clean, comfortable, well-located, and without any nasty surprises.

  The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location in the medieval part of town. The only improvement would have been if early check-in could have been facilitated. We would return and recommend to this apartment.

  Emplacement en plein centre ville,tout est à proximité (cathédrale,tram, vélo…)
  Parking gratuit (public) mais attention hauteur limitée à 1.80m (les avis sont peu recommandables malheureusement). Autrement politique de stationnement de la ville horrible pour les touristes
  Appartement bien équipé,clim dans le salon uniquement,il manquait cependant des ventilateurs en ces jours de canicule pour les chambres. Mr Raza a été à l'écoute et nous les a fournit le lendemain même.

  Nous étions 6, meme si l'appartement peut recevoir tout le monde,avec toutes nos valises,nous étions à l'étroit
  Mauvaise isolation phonique de la porte de la chambre donnant sur la rue+ un bruit répétitif du soir au matin provenant d'un appartement voisin.

  Me encantó este alojamiento.
  La decoración es increíble, todo está muy limpio, cuidado y con mucho detalle, se nota que lo mantienen con cariño.
  Tenía todo impreso con ayudas, recomendaciones del departamento y de Burdeos, lo cual fue muy útil.
  El parking está muy cerca y funciona perfecto.
  Sin dudas, vale totalmente la pena.
