You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – which honestly works in your favor. This is basically a really solid apartment rental right in the heart of Bordeaux, and I mean *right* in the heart. You’re on rue Condillac, which is one of those narrow streets that feels totally residential but dumps you onto the main shopping areas in about two minutes of walking.

The parking thing is huge here, and I can’t stress this enough if you’re driving into Bordeaux. Most places in the city center will leave you circling for ages or paying through the nose for public parking, but having your own spot? That’s actually kind of magical. The elevator’s there too, which – look, it’s not the smoothest ride you’ll ever take, but when you’re hauling luggage up to a third-floor apartment in an old French building, you’ll be grateful for it. The two bedrooms are pretty standard size for this part of town (so, not huge by American standards, but perfectly fine), and the whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. There’s something nice about having a proper kitchen and being able to spread out a bit.

Location-wise, you’re in that sweet spot where tourists haven’t completely taken over yet, but you can still walk to everything that matters. The tramway stops are close enough that you don’t think twice about hopping over to other neighborhoods, and honestly, some of my favorite little wine bars are within a few blocks – the kind of places where locals actually drink, not just the obvious tourist spots. I stayed here during shoulder season and it was pretty quiet at night, though I imagine summer might get a bit livelier with people coming back from dinner. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because it delivers exactly what it promises without any real surprises, good or bad. It’s not going to wow you with fancy touches, but everything works, it’s clean, and you feel like you’re actually living in Bordeaux for a few days rather than just visiting it. If you want to feel like a temporary local and you’ve got a car to park, this hits the spot.

  Gostei de tudo, principalmente a localização, a decoração e o facto do apartamento estar super bem equipado com tudo o que era necessário

  Świetna lokalizacja w samym centrum miasta. Duże mieszkanie z dwoma sypialniami. Wyposażenie kompletne. Dostałem kartę VIP na pobliski parking – super.
  
  What could be improved: Mieszkanie bardzo wysłużone. Przydałoby się odświeżyć ściany. Czystość na granicy akceptowalności. Kaucja 700 EUR z karty kredytowej gdy wartość wyposażenia całego mieszkania nie przekroczyłaby 500 EUR – to przesada.

  nous ne sommes plus tout jeunes et la présence d'un ascenseur était essentielle pour nous !!

  Goede locatie bij autovrij centrum en openbaar vervoer.
  Veel restaurants, bars en winkels in de buurt.

  Bij aankomst als welkom koffiecups gekregen, maar helaas was de Nespresso machine kapot.

  What could be improved: Que no había casi papel higiénico y éramos cuatro personas ni jabón para dejar recogido las tazas, platos y cubiertos del desayuno. Y que era un tercer piso y estaba estropeado el ascensor y había escaleras de caracol.
