You know what really surprised me about this place? The moment you step onto that terrace, you actually forget you’re in the middle of Bordeaux. I mean, the Chartrons neighborhood can get pretty buzzy during the day with all the antique shops and wine bars, but up here on the third floor, there’s this weird peaceful bubble thing happening.

The apartment itself is honestly what I’d call “lived-in cozy” rather than showroom perfect – and I mean that in the best way. The furniture feels like someone actually picked it because they liked it, not because it matched some design theme. There’s this great reading nook by the window where you can watch people wandering down Rue de Leybardie with their morning coffee. Speaking of coffee, the kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to skip the café prices (though honestly, you’re like a two-minute walk from some incredible spots). The shower pressure is solid – always worth mentioning because, well, you never know with older Bordeaux buildings.

But let’s talk about why you’re really here: that terrace. It’s genuinely huge for this part of town, and you’ve got these glimpses of the Garonne if you lean just right. I spent way too many evenings out there with a bottle of something local, watching the light change over the rooftops. The building’s pretty quiet too – mostly locals, not a party crowd, so you can actually enjoy those evening moments without someone’s music bleeding through the walls. Parking can be a bit of a dance around here (this is old Bordeaux, after all), but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The tram stop at Chartrons is practically outside your door, which makes getting to the city center or the wine museum stupidly easy. And if you’re into the whole antique hunting thing, you’re literally in the epicenter – just don’t blame me when you end up shipping furniture home. The host was refreshingly straightforward about everything, none of that overly chatty stuff, just clear directions and quick responses when I had questions.

Look, this isn’t going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but it nails that sweet spot of feeling like you’re actually living in Bordeaux for a few days rather than just passing through. The 8.8 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place that does what it promises really well without any weird surprises.

  L accueil et la gentillesse de Nassin. Le calme de l endroit. Sa situation près des quais, de la cité du vin. Pas trop loin du centre ville avec des transports à proximité et un centre leclerc au bout de la rue

  L appartement est très propre, bien aménagé avec une terrasse aménagée également en RDC dans une résidence calme et sécurisée.

  L'accueil est parfait, mille mercis. L'appartement est soigné, agréable et bien équipé. La possibilité d'avoir accès à une place de parking sécurisée est un plus. Les transports en commun sont à quelques pas. La terrasse est top !
