You know what struck me first about this place? Walking up Rue Lachassaigne, you’re literally in the thick of everything Bordeaux has to offer, but somehow the apartment itself feels like a peaceful retreat once you’re inside. I mean, you’re maybe a three-minute walk from Place Gambetta – which, honestly, is where all the real action happens anyway, not the touristy spots everyone talks about.

The apartment itself is exactly what it says on the tin – charming, fits four people comfortably, and actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than a sterile rental. The owners clearly know what travelers need because there are all these little touches that matter: decent coffee setup (trust me, you’ll appreciate this after wandering Bordeaux’s cobblestones all day), proper curtains that actually block light for sleeping in, and – this might sound silly – but really good water pressure in the shower. The living space flows nicely, and while it’s not huge, four people won’t feel cramped if you’re the type who spends most daylight hours exploring. There’s this lovely morning light that comes through the main windows, and you can hear the city waking up in that distinctly French way – cafe chairs scraping on sidewalks, the distant hum of the tram.

What I really loved about the location is how genuinely local it feels. You’re not staying in some sanitized hotel district – you’re on a street where people actually live and work. The boulangerie around the corner on Rue Judaïque (seriously, go there early) has this incredible pain au chocolat, and there’s a little wine shop that stays open later than it probably should where the owner will genuinely help you pick something local and interesting. The tram stop is close enough to be convenient but far enough that you won’t deal with constant noise. Parking can be a bit of a dance if you’re driving – it’s city center, so you know, expect that – but honestly, once you’re settled here, you’ll probably walk everywhere anyway. The Garonne is a pleasant ten-minute stroll, and if you’re into the whole UNESCO World Heritage thing, you’re basically living in it. Evening walks toward the river become this almost automatic routine because the streets have this warm glow once the sun starts setting, and you’ll find yourself discovering little squares and wine bars you’d never find staying out in the business district. The whole experience just feels… well, it feels like you’re actually staying in Bordeaux, not just visiting it.

  Great location. Clean, modern and comfortable- especially the air conditioning makes a big difference (we were there during a heatwave) but the temperature inside was comfortable!
  
  What could be improved: We stayed a number of days would’ve been nice if they was added amenities like dish pods, extra dish towels and toiletries for the bathroom- and garbage bags. Otherwise the place was well equipped- especially if your stay is short term.

  The staff is friendly and kind. The room is clean and so comfortable. The access is also good as the tram station is in front of the Apartment.

  What could be improved: 这家公寓不是满意不满意的问题！是令人愤慨！！！我们6-11中午大约12点到达该公寓的地址，没有人也有没有任何事先提供的信息！我们请出租车司机帮助打电话询问，说是：现在checkin 太早，下午16点之后再来。无奈，我们只好拖着行李参加下午的行程。不久（应该是接待方）又接到电话，说你们还没有支付250欧元的安全押金，必须现在支付，否则也不能入住。我们当即在行程途中支付了这个押金。下午行程结束后，我们再打车到这个公寓地址，这时已经是18点多了，下着雨。这个公寓仍然没有人！打了多次电话，终于有人接听！回答是：因为你们只住一天，我们无法接待。我们会全额退款，抱歉！ 我们只好再临时预定波尔多的其他酒店，并再次打车前往。 这样的公寓，怎么会挂到booking.com上呢？！
