Bô, Peace & Bordeaux Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Bô, Peace & Bordeaux feels like discovering someone’s perfectly curated city apartment — if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and a knack for making guests feel instantly at home. The name itself gives you a hint of what’s coming: this three-star boutique spot manages to blend that laid-back “bô” vibe (which means “beautiful” in Vietnamese, by the way) with classic Bordeaux elegance. It’s honestly refreshing to find a place that doesn’t try too hard but still nails every detail.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what really sets this place apart? The location on Place de Lerme puts you right in the heart of Bordeaux without the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally steps from the Golden Triangle shopping district, but the square itself feels like a local secret. Couples absolutely love it here — and I get why, because you can walk to the Grand Théâtre in about five minutes, then wander down to the Garonne riverfront for sunset drinks. The tram stops are close enough to be useful but far enough away that you won’t hear them rumbling past your window at night.
The Room Experience
The room design strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and Bordeaux character. Each space feels thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter — you’ll find exposed stone walls paired with contemporary furnishings, and honestly, the attention to detail is impressive for a three-star property. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathrooms actually have decent water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s stayed in historic European buildings knows that’s not always a given.
Daily Rhythms
Mornings here have this nice, unhurried feel — there’s no massive breakfast buffet situation, but what they do offer feels authentic rather than mass-produced. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, which shows in small ways throughout the day. You’ll notice they remember your preferences and actually offer useful local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. The common areas invite you to linger with a coffee or glass of wine, and there’s this sense that you’re staying somewhere that locals would actually choose for visiting friends.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes Bô, Peace & Bordeaux work is how it captures the essence of Bordeaux without feeling like a themed hotel. The 9.3 rating isn’t just about the prime location or well-designed rooms — though both certainly help. It’s about finding that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real city while still having all the comforts you need. Whether you’re here for the wine culture, the architecture, or just to soak up that particular French art of living well, this place gives you an authentic base without breaking the bank or overwhelming you with unnecessary frills.

A tastefully and stylishly furnished spacious two bed apartment slightly away from the centre but very accessible.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, felt like we were being gifted an opportunity to enter Sylvie’s tranquil and beautiful home, we felt very welcome. Wonderful art work, books, poetry, personal items, just lovely. A lovely local shop with fresh essentials at the doorstep, very close (4 min walk) to a carrefour supermarket, Michelin restaurants, local bistros and cafe plus the very efficient tram. We walked into the main town centre – took us 11 mins at a leisurely pace. Gorgeous city with lots to do.

Host Sylvie was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even when our timings had to be amended at the last minute due to travel changes. The place itself is stunning – the photos really don't do it justice. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably equipped. It is clear that a lot of love and thought has gone into giving guests a truly special experience. The area is quiet, yet within easy walking of central Bordeaux.
Highly recommended – thanks so much Sylvie!Christos from Greece (10/10)
Sylvie's house is a large, beautifully decorated appartment. It is much more impressive than in the pictures.

My family and I agreed this was the most beautiful and best apartment we've stayed in during our travels. Sylvie was so kind, allowed us to check in earlier, made sure we had everything we needed and was excellent and prompt with her communication. The location is AMAZING. The kitchen was great for cooking and the apartment was spacious for the three of us . Wifi worked great. This is in the nicest part of Bordeaux . Very quiet , near a fantastic local artisan market . We rented a car and it was no problem to park . We will return !!

Very nice apartment in the heart of Bordeaux. Quiet streets but very close to all facilities. Trams were a 10 minutes walk away.

Mostly an absolutely beautiful apartment, as it should be for the price paid. The main bedroom, bathroom and living spaces are top drawer and full of stylistic and homely touches. The rear area where the second bedroom and shower room are located, beyond the bathroom, are more basic accommodation, with a bed against the wall and the shower in the end space with the laundry facilities. Generally communication wasn't clear for arrival or throughout – we thought we would be entering without anybody meeting us, but it turned out Sylvie waited for us in person to let us in. That needs to be made clearer. Equally the parking situation – we asked a question about this which would have helped us with knowing the rules/expectations of the area, but it wasn't answered for nearly 24 hours, by which time we were leaving. There is a lot to be pleased with, but at this price point, there needs to be clarity about these key points.

Sehr nette Vermieterin! Ich könnte noch viel positives schreiben 🙂
