  Charles was an extremely helpful communicative host (via Whatsapp messenger) who was able to communicate in English with me before and during our stay. Clear instructions were given to collect the keys and he was very accommodating regarding our arrival and departure times. The apartment is in a great central location in the old town area, you can see the Porte Cailhau from the window and there is a Carrefour nearby for supplies. The apartment is clean, spacious, nicely decorated and with lovely exposed sandstone walls and a skylight window in the kitchen to let in plenty of light. Despite all the bars and trams nearby the double-glazing and fact that the apartment is on the top floor meant that we didn't have a problem sleeping with noise at night. The air conditioning in both parts of the apartment is great. Nice modern shower.

  Central location to Bordeaux shops and restaurants but extremely quiet as high up and private.
  City was easy to navigate from this location.
  Weather was raining and cold. The apartment was warm and gave us sanctuary quickly if we needed to dry off.
  The communication was excellent with Charles and we were able to check in early and out late to fit in with our flights.Thank you so much.
