Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Appartemment terrasse parking centre historique,” I thought it was just one of those places that throws every keyword into the title hoping something sticks. But you know what? They actually deliver on all of it, which is pretty rare in Bordeaux’s city center.

The location is what really sold me on this place. You’re literally on Rue Saint-Rémi, which – if you know Bordeaux at all – puts you right in the sweet spot where you can walk to everything that matters without dealing with the tourist chaos around Place de la Bourse. I mean, you’re close enough to hit the wine bars on Rue des Piliers de Tutelle (honestly some of the best natural wine spots in the city), but far enough away that you’re not hearing drunk British tourists at 2 AM. The parking situation is actually legit too, which anyone who’s tried to park in this part of Bordeaux will tell you is worth its weight in gold. I’ve stayed in other places where “parking included” meant circling the block for 45 minutes looking for a spot three streets away.

What really gets me about this apartment is the terrace – and I’m someone who’s pretty skeptical about terraces in city centers because they’re usually either facing a brick wall or getting zero sun. This one actually works. You get decent light in the afternoons, and there’s something really nice about having your morning coffee outside while the city’s waking up below. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Like, the kitchen actually has everything you need (not just a sad hot plate and two mismatched plates), and the wifi doesn’t cut out every time someone in the building turns on their hairdryer. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after a night out. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but everything works the way it should, and honestly, the bed is actually comfortable, which is saying something. I’ve noticed the area gets pretty quiet after about 10 PM, which surprised me given how central you are, but I think that’s because it’s more residential than purely touristy. You’ll hear the trams occasionally, but it’s more of a gentle rumble than anything disruptive. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place where you immediately start planning your next Bordeaux trip because you know you’ve found somewhere that just works.

  Locations, location. The apartment was quiet considering you were in the middle of the city. It was just as it appeared in the pictures.
  
  What could be improved: While it didn’t bother me, I was unaware that the owner’s personal belongings would be in the bathroom and closet. The parking garage was very dark.

  Fantastically located spacious apartment, with original decorations and all the needed facilities. While the building entrance is right on a busy street, the apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful. It has a lovely (back) terras, air conditioning (useful in summer days), and private underground parking nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Some of the items/decorations can be a bit scary for little kids. The access hallway and staircase to the apartment are in need of renovation, but that's likely not something the owner has control over.

  Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut, nahe an den Sehenswürdigkeiten und sehr ruhig.
  Die Räume sind grosszügig und die Einrichtung ist modern.
  Die Terrasse ist hübsch gestaltet.
  
  What could be improved: Offensichtlich wohnt der Besitzer zeitweise in der Wohnung, in den meisten Kästen befinden sich private Kleider und Gegenstände. Die Küche ist nicht sauber gereinigt und es hat diverse Vorräte, die nicht sehr appetitlich sind.

  Es un apartamento muy bonito en pleno centro de Burdeos pero de fácil acceso. Tiene una terraza muy agradable y la casa tiene muchos elementos de diseño, incluso Alex, el propietario, nos dio acceso a su Netflix. En la casa había de todo (toallas, buenas camas, todo tipo de utensilios de cocina..). Alex nos facilitó su tarjeta para aparcar en un parking muy cercano… todo genial.
