Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of Bordeaux apartments over the years, and this one on Cours de Verdun actually gets it right. The location alone – you’re smack in the middle of Chartrons, which honestly is where you want to be if you’re not doing the touristy Saint-Pierre thing. I mean, you’ve got the tram literally at your doorstep (the B line stops right there), and you know how Bordeaux can be with parking… well, here you don’t really need a car.
What struck me first was how quiet it stays despite being on a main street. The windows are proper double-glazed, which you’ll appreciate because Cours de Verdun gets busy during the day with all the tram traffic. The air conditioning actually works – and I say this as someone who’s suffered through too many European summers in places that claim to have “climate control.” The apartment itself feels like someone who lives in Bordeaux set it up, not some corporate rental company. There’s this lived-in quality that makes you feel settled immediately, plus all the practical stuff you need without the weird quirks you sometimes get in vacation rentals.
Here’s what sold me on the neighborhood though – you’re a five-minute walk from those wine bars along Quai des Chartrons, and the Saturday organic market at Marché des Chartrons is basically next door. The locals actually shop there, which tells you something. If you’re into the whole Bordeaux wine scene (and honestly, why else are you here?), you’re perfectly positioned for the serious wine shops and négociant houses that most tourists never find because they’re stuck down in the old town. Plus – and this might sound small but it matters – there’s a decent bakery two blocks down on Rue Notre Dame that opens early, so you can grab proper croissants without trekking across the city. The whole area has this residential vibe during evenings and weekends that lets you actually relax instead of feeling like you’re camping in a theme park.

A very nice appartement. 10 seconds from the next tram station. In 5 min range there are two wine shops, 3 bakeries, one supermarket, and one phantastic chocolatier. If you love a quite site it´s not your place. You have the gentle hum of the city but it is not loud. 10 min with the tram to the city center.

Perfect stay!
Everything went well 😄Jeanette from Australia (9/10)
Fabulous location and very nice apartment. Host always helpful if help was required. Lovely to be away from the very busy central Bordeaux but still only a short walk or tram ride to centre.

The property is impeccably clean and very well presented, with thoughtful touches like cold water in the refrigerator and a complimentary bottle of wine. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The couch is cozy, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the view from the windows provides a perfect glimpse of the street and weather. Air conditioning was very helpful for the warm evenings. It's an easy commute to the city centre by tram, or a convenient short walk.

It’s a lovely apartment in a beautiful area in Bordeaux with everything on your doorstep. Loads of Restaurants and Cafes and wherever you want to go you have the tram access. But most of all, the service is amazing. I booked the apartment for elderly friends from New Zealand’s, they arrived late and after asking, Sandrine immediately went shopping for them and arranged a beautiful assortment of food and wine for them ! Whatever I asked or requested, they immediately replied and did everything possible! Our friends absolutely loved their stay there.

We loved the space. The apartment is beautifully decorated with some great amenities – especially the air conditioning which helped on very hot summer days. It is closely located in the Bordeaux city centre and it is very convenient to have trams and buses right by the doorstep!
